Okay – so I thought I’d put this one up before. It’s all over the internet in slight variations of one another. Here’s what I do.
3 c. self-rising flour
3 tbs. sugar
1 bottle beer, warm (Guinness and Honey Brown are my two favorites)
Mix together and bake at 325* for about 1 hour.
It’s so easy even DH can make it 😉
If you don’t have self-rising flour take 1 c. regular flour + 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder + 1/2 tsp salt for each cup of self-rising flour you need.
