Thanks cissy!
On the purple one I slip stitched around - that's part of what makes it more of an ear-warmer than a stand-up crown. On the yellow one I single crocheted around. You may want to be careful using craft cord for chemo caps. It's really scratchy. I'd recommend subbing something fuzzy like Lion Jiffy as a contrast so it would be softer.

This crown is spectacular !!!!! What a great crochet pattern !!! I am always looking for patterns that I can make and donate to use as "chemo caps". Every little girl wants to be a princess..so these are so special. Now, I just have a question (lol) . On the trim with the craft cord, did you just slip stitch around????? It is so great...more than that it's perfect !!!

Love this cute pattern! It's exactly what I've been looking for for a play crown for my daughter! Thank you so much for sharing.

I have a question on the play crown pattern. Row 5 says to repeat row 5. ??? Should I repeat row 4, or am I missing something completely different?

Thanks again!
